The museum is located diagonally across from the petting zoo in the large green building.  Inside the the museum are many taxidermy prepared animals displayed in “true to life” poses, just as they would exist in their wild habitats.

This collection was amassed after 15 years of safari expeditions to far away lands.  There's a Grizzly Bear from Siberia, a Wildebeest from Tanzania, and the mighty African Lion. There's also North American Elk, Bison and Moose which make excellent topics for discussion for the animal enthusiast.

The photographs on this page give you a feel for what the animals look like, but unless you are one to frequent such lands as Africa, New Zealand, India or Russia the closest you will get to seeing these animals is by visiting your local library. Fortunately, Action Wildlife Foundation offers its visitors a 3-dimensional scope of the wild for all to appreciate.
