Wildlife Foundation invites all guests and passersby to stop at our petting zoo
located across from the green museum building.
Spring is an exciting time of year at the farm and 2001 heralds several
new arrivals. Recently, we welcomed the births of pot-bellied pigs, baby lambs
and a dwarf horse pony. Please visit our Newborns
page for more information!
It is amazing how quickly these little babies learn to adjust to their new surroundings. They are up and walking immediately, although a little shaky at times. Patrick, the dwarf pony born March 15, 2001 is rather large for a dwarf horse. Within hours he was able to teach himself how to lay down, but of course never straying far from reach of Mommy.
Feed is available for $1.00 per cup and is provided at the entrance of the petting barn. Please note that the animals in the petting barn are the ONLY animals guests are allowed to pet and feed. There are red signs placed throughout the facility as reminders. Petting Zoo closes at 4 pm.
